Well here it is, the page the internet has been waiting for...okay, maybe not, but hey, in case you wanted to know anything, here it is. Now, just gimme a minute to think of something really witty to say here....... I am a guitar player. My "baby" is a 1967-ish Fender Telecaster, which has a very special meaning to me. Ask me sometime to get into how I got it, and why it means so much some time.... Unfortunately, I am playing it right now through a Traynor 212, which is, um, yuckky. If anyone out there has a Fender Pro Reverb circa 1985 or so, please, email me. I have a boss ME-30 Multiple Effects unit, which gives me pretty much every colour and tone I could ever need. I am also a songwriter, and over the years have written quite a bit of original material. I find that I write better with a collaborator, so hey, if you are looking for someone to write with, please drop me a line. |
My influences, hmmm, now there's a damn good question! I think that guitar-wise, my biggest influences would have to be Buddy Guy, Eric Clapton, Gordie Johnson (of Big Sugar), Rory Gallagher, Thor Johanson (who first taught me how to play) and my father, who also taught me a lot musically. If you are a musician and you have a site, let me know and I'll be more than happy to post a link to it. I just finished building my first "home studio". Well, nothing fancy, I don't think that the Bob Rock is gonna call me up anytime soon to see if he can use my facility, but it's enough for me to record at the level I want to.
